This is essential as the water helps to cool the motor of the pump. If not, the motor can get overheated and cause accidents.

- Sewage treatment- For this, grinder pumps are needed which can transport solid material from the inlet to the discharge without any obstructions. These pumps help to reduce the sewage material to smaller particles, which helps in easier and more effective handling.
- Wastewater- The pumps are widely used in the grit and wastewater industry. These pumps are compact and their cost of installation is quite less.
- Sump pumping- These pumps also help to remove water that has been accumulated in the low-lying area or pit, wherein the water can collect. These are used in various mining operations.
- Wells- These pumps are also used in boreholes and wells to lift water to the surface. These pumps can be easily found in the oil industry and used for lifting oil from deep wells to the surface.
